Wild Love Book Review
Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today, I am back with another book review. I'm super excited about this one, so let's get into it!
I've been seeing this book all over my social media pages. I have to say the cover is intriguing, but I didn't dive in right away. It honestly wasn't until I saw it was on Kindle Unlimited that I thought about giving it a chance. Plus, I needed a break from all my thriller and horror books. A nice palette cleanser.
We follow Rosie Belmont and Billionaire Ford Grant. Rosie has been living the city life after leaving her small town behind, but when an incident at work makes her question everything, she finds herself back in the small town of Rose Hills. Ford Grant is a billionaire also back in his small town, hometown setting up for a new business adventure. His world is then turned upside down when, Cora shows up looking for her dad.
Ford more than happy that Rosie, his childhood crush, girl of his dreams, is back in town. Now the both of them have to tackle a setting up a new business, navigating parenthood, and their feelings for each other.
Honestly, I didn't really know what to expect. Usually really hyped up books tend to fall flat for me, but this was so good. I read this in less than a day and just couldn't put it down.
I LOVE Ford and the whole "he falls first" trope. The way he was with Rosie, the way he looked at her, treated her, THE THINGS THIS MAN SAID. I can't remember the last time a book made me swoon so hard. Ford Grant must be protected at all costs. Him and Rosie are just so perfect.
I also love Rosie. She's the perfect balance of "I can handle myself" and "let a man take care of me."
This book is about 450ish pages, and the chapters are not too long. For me, this was one of the book where I was constantly saying, "one more chapter." I just couldn't stop. I thought with 450 pages, the pacing would be slow, but honestly it was perfect. It added to the romance, almost a slow burn, but for the characters it made sense.
This was my first time reading anything my Elsie Silver, and I have to say I'm ready to invest. I hear a lot about the Chestnut Spring Series, so that may be my next task.
Overall, I give this 5/5 stars. I highly recommend. I will be reading the next in the series, Wild Eyes. There are two more installments coming to the Rose Hill Series!
Alright folks, that is all I have for this week! Come back next Wednesday for another blog post! As always, thank you for reading:)
