No One Can Know Book Review

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today, I am back with another book review. I have loved every Katie Alice Marshall book I've read so far, and this is no exception. So, let's get into it!

I always get so excited when I see Katie Alice Marshall's books as a BOTM option. This is my second BOTM from her, and I have yet to be disappointed.

This book follows three sisters, Emma, Juliette, and Daphne. When they were young their parents were murdered, and they each swore to never tell what really happened that night. They lied to the officers, lawyers, everyone. Now years later, Emma and her husband find themselves in a bind and end up moving back to Emma's childhood home. The house her parents died in.

Determined to finally figure out what happened that night, Emma starts digging around. But not everyone wants her to know what really happened and will stop at nothing to keep those secrets buried.

I loved every second of this book. It truly gripped my attention and had me sitting on the couch for hours. The story is told in multiple perspectives of the sisters from past and present. I really liked getting all three sister's perspectives because the whole plot point is that they are all lying to each other/everyone. Not only do you get to know when they are lying but also the other secrets they are keeping.

It really drives home the idea that you truly don't know anyone not even your own family. Which I think is the scariest thing of all.

The book was fast paced, the chapters were short, and you truly get so invested into the storyline as you read more and more.

Overall, I would give this 4/5 stars. I would highly recommend checking this book out, as well as, What Lies in the Woods also by Katie Alice Marshall. I like that one a little bit more.

Alright folks, that is all I have for today. Come back next Wednesday for another blog post! As always thank you for reading:)
