First-Time Caller Book Review

Hello everyone, and welcome back to the blog! Today, I am back with another book review. I've never read anything by B.K. Borison before, but I've seen her books all over my social media pages. So, let's get into it!

If you liked the movie Sleepless in Seattle, then you'll definitely love this rom-com spin on it. Aiden Valentine runs a radio show called, Heartstrings. Basically a romance hotline. One night a little girl calls in for her mom; she thinks her mom is lonely and unhappy, so of course she needs help finding love. One thing leads to another, and the mother, Lucie Stone ends up co-hosting Heartstrings with Aiden (kind of). Lucie joins the show so the listeners can witness her dating experience. The man who no longer believes in love is helping a woman who can't find love...find love. Can you tell where this is leading?

I thought this was the cutest book ever. The plot, the characters, ugh everything was perfect. Even the cover art! I loved the chemistry between Aiden and Lucie. This had be giggling and rooting for them to get together the whole time.

Now, I've never seen the movie Sleepless in Seattle, but I want to now just based on this book.

I know I mentioned that I loved the chemistry between Aiden and Lucie. but truly Aiden was just so sweet with her. It really felt like they understood one another. I loved the scene when Aiden showed up at the restaurant for Lucie. For someone who doesn't believe in love, Aiden was so romantic.

The book was really well-written, and you can tell that a lot of time and love went into it which is all I can ask for as a reader.

Overall, I rated this 5/5 stars! I highly recommend, and I honestly want to check out other books by this author as well.

Alright folks that is all I have for this week. Come back next Wednesday for another blog post! As always, thank you for reading:)
