Building My Christmas/Holiday TBR
Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today, I am back with something fun! I have been trying to get ahead of the curve and start building my TBR for the holidays. I want all the cozy Christmas romances and wintery thrillers. I do this every year for the fall time, so I thought it would be perfect for the winter season as well. Let’s get into it!
I am definitely a mood reader, so I need to have a little bit of everything on my TBR list. I primarily dip between thriller and romance. Throughout August and the beginning of September I was on a thriller kick, but towards mid-end of September, I was on my romance kick.
But when I think of curling up with a book for the holidays, drinking hot chocolate, sitting by the Christmas tree, I think of romance first. I’ve been browsing GoodReads, Tiktok, and Instagram for some book recommendations. So far, I have found:
- The Christmas Tree Farm by Laurie Gilmore
- The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score
- Wreck the Halls by Tessa Bailey
- A Holly Jolly Ever After by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone
- A Jingle Bell Mingle by Julie Murphy and Sierra Simone
- The Ex-Mas Holidays by Zoe Allison
- The Christmas Wager by Holly Cassidy
- The Christmas Countdown by Holly Cassidy
Now onto my other favorite genre, thrillers.
- Dead of Winter by Darcy Coates
- Murder on the Christmas Express by Alexandra Benedict
- The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley
- The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse
Some cozy fantasies:
- The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer
- The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
And lastly cozy mysteries:
- Murder at the Christmas Cookie Bake-Off by Darci Hannah
- Death by Eggnog by Alex Erickson
- Hand Caught in the Christmas Cookie Jar by Virginia K. Bennett
- Candy Slain Murder by Maddie Day
Alright folks, that is all I have for this week. Come back next Wednesday for another blog post! As always, thank you for reading :)
